A Bit About Us

Paul and I first became involved with network marketing when we lived in California for a year. It was such a privilege to meet the wonderful people who were involved with that particular company. Many of them were multi millionaires, all of them were incredibly positive in their attitude and activity.

We learned the importance of reading the books that will get us to where we want to be.

Our fine art gallery business there failed and we came back to England with very little financially, having 'lost' a huge amount of money, but having gained an incredible amount of knowledge.

We believed that we would be successful here in that network marketing business. We were wrong, the market here for health and wellness products is very difficult to crack.

Don't get me wrong, the products are amazing and they work. We still use them to this day. There are many successful people in the business, but they are mainly having success in Europe and the USA and other countries. The UK mindset is just not the same. This does not make the company a scam, it just means that we didn't succeed at it.

Our fine art gallery here in the UK began to fail as the recession gained a hold. It was terribly painful to let our staff go, and to see the business end. My husband worked 90+ hours a week to make sure all the creditors were paid and that we could close the gallery without harming any other business or family. Our integrity and honesty is crucially important to us.

During this time, I went back to work, and got a job in the NHS. I also started network marketing with the Pampered Chef company. I soon found that I was uncomfortable asking people to host parties, and selling products which were expensive, even if they were good. I didn't last very long, and soon gave up. this does not make it a scam. I met some very lovely, successful women working that business, but it wasn't for me.

Paul also got a job with the NHS. It paid less than £12k a year for full time hours. It was a terrible come down for him, but we had bills to pay, and he is a grafter. The trouble is that he was still doing framing, and trying to get a buy to let property portfolio off the ground. He worked long long hours, and we hardly saw each other.

In 2010, I had some health issues and I quit my job at the NHS. In a desperate bid to help contribute to our household finances, I signed up as a Kleeneze distributor. I thought that it would be great to deliver catalogues, collect them back up, deliver the goods and earn money with minimal contact with people.

I soon learned that it was not for me! It is harder work than I anticipated, it seems to cost a fair bit to run the business, and I hated my home looking like a warehouse. I gave it up by July of 2010.

I felt such a failure.

In August a leaflet came through my door at home offering to save money or make money. We needed to cut our outgoings even more than we had already and so I called the guy whose details were on the leaflet. I told him that I would like to be a customer, and a distributor!

Simon came and met us, gave a presentation, answered our questions and let us think about it. He invited us to a business opportunity presentation at Exeter Golf & Country Club.

We couldn't make the first one, but I went to the next available one. I told Simon that I felt reluctant because I didn't want to fail at yet another thing. I was really hesitant, and absolutely lacking in confidence, but I knew that network marketing is a fantastic way of earning an income, especially getting residual income, and eventually being able to buy time back. I really wanted to have time with Paul, and for him not to have to work 90+ hours all the time.

I went to the Career Opportunity Presentation (COP) in September and signed up straight afterwards. I paid the £199.75 and got started.

Paul joined me and signed up in November.

We have been slow starters, but we have customers (every single one is saving money), and we have some great people joining our team. It's all very exciting and we are both comfortable and happy in this business because we are not selling anything....we are helping people and we like that.

Simon has been a consistent worker in the business and he will be ordering his free branded Mini next month. He has also qualified along with 182 other colleagues in the company for a 6 star, all expenses paid, luxury holiday to Las Vegas in April.

We are all very excited about the latest promotion which is open to all existing distributors and new distributors joining too. We merely have to gather 2 customers a month for the next 3 years and 5 months to receive 1,000 share options in the company (Telecom Plus). These are potentially worth a huge amount of money especially if they perform in the next 5 years as they have in the last 5 years. The company are very generous, in fact it is the most generous of all the ones we have seen. There are no targets set and no pressures, just great opportunities for us to push ourselves.

I'm always impressed with the calibre of person who joins this business. We have IFAs, Mortgage Brokers, Business owners, Mums, Bank staff, Police Officers, Barristers, Property investors, Army personnel, journalists, Championship referees, TV Producers, Actors etc etc.

We see this as a 3 to 5 year project, and we are very enthusiastic with how great the company is, how ethical, and honest it is. We absolutely love working with like minded, positive, happy people.

We have some properties which we rent out, and with this amazing networking business we are happy to know that Paul will be resigning from the NHS around May 2012!

That makes me very happy. No more Paul working stupidly long hours!!
